We are so excited that you are here at Manitou Springs Middle School. You should check here every week for the practice assignments. If anything changes during the week, I will post those changes as soon as possible, so your parents can stay updated, too.
Remember! All practice must be completed in your Math ISN and is due the day after assigned, unless noted otherwise. Also, ALL practice MUST be done in pencil, and self-checked with a red pen.
Here's what you need to know for this week :-).

Our son, Johann, has a wonderful sense of humor, even in situations that don't typically call for it. He loves to read and listen to audio books of his favorite titles, the Harry Potter series, the Narnia series and Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials series (see a pattern here?).
ReplyDeleteJohann also loves to hike and bike, play soccer and travel. He's been to France twice, even living there for four months with his family during a sabbatical two years ago. He makes friends easily and loves jokes.
His smile is infectious, so watch out.
Thanks for the great post, Chris! Johann is absolutely delightful in math class. I need to tell him that my favorite books are also the Narnia series! :-) Email or call me anytime you have questions.
ReplyDeleteI am a fellow math teacher who is just starting to use Prentice Hall's online text for Course 2. I see that you have a letter of instructions for using the Prentice Hall Interactive Textbook. Did you create the letter or did Prentice Hall provide it? Thanks you for your help!

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs. Mitko,
ReplyDeleteI created a letter of instructions, and I'm happy to share it with you. My email is smcqueeney@mssd14.org. Send me a note there, and I'll reply with my letter as an attachment. If it's easier, you can also generate a parent letter directly from the Prentice Hall teacher home page. Hope this helps!
